Apprentice Electrician
Nationwide — Multiple Locations
Schaffhouser is seeking career-minded, proficient Apprentice Electricians who are passionate, driven, and highly motivated. These positions are open nationwide across the 22 states we serve — wherever our projects take us. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a structured, NCCER-accredited environment with a company that genuinely invests in the people on its team.
Essential Functions
- Communicate with Journeyman Electrician and customers in a professional manner
- Demonstrate excellent and safe working conditions on every job site
- Use each assigned task as a learning and training tool
- Ensure accurate reporting of time and paperwork
- Learn to construct, repair, and diagnose electrical problems
- Complete all required Apprenticeship Training Programs
- Learn the full range of electrical services sold and provided by Schaffhouser
- Maintain a clean driving record
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Enrollment in a certified apprenticeship program
- CAN DO attitude — willingness to learn and grow
- Basic conduit bending and wire pulling skills (or willingness to learn)
- Own hand tools and reliable transportation
Journeyman Electrician
Nationwide — Multiple Locations
Schaffhouser is seeking a career-minded, proficient Journeyman Electrician who is passionate, driven, and highly motivated. We are hiring nationwide across the 22 states we serve. The ideal candidate brings real-world industrial electrical experience and is ready to lead a crew, mentor apprentices, and deliver high-quality work wherever projects take them.
Essential Functions
- Prepare weekly schedules and coordinate labor, equipment, and material deliveries
- Ensure safe working conditions through regular site inspections
- Construct, fabricate, and diagnose a wide range of electrical problems
- Train and mentor assigned crew members
- Maintain accurate hours log sheets
- Keep projects on or ahead of schedule
- Prepare daily and weekly field reports
- Ensure NEC and all applicable safety code compliance
- Operate multi-meters and other electrical testing tools accurately
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of industrial/commercial electrical experience OR completion of a full electrical apprentice program
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Proficient in conduit bending and wire pulling
- Reliable transportation
